WHAT YOU NEED TO PREPARE BEFORE Traveling to mongolia
Hello !
Today, I would like to tell you what I need to prepare one by one before traveling to Mongolia. It's a travel destination with a lot of things to choose from, so let's prepare step by step.
1. Where are we going
Mongolia has such a large land. So you have to decide when traveling to the United States, whether to go to the West (LA, San Francisco, etc.) or the east (New York, Washington, etc.).

It can be divided into three
- Southern (Centre of the Gobi Desert)
- Central (near the capital/green)
- Northern (Hopsgol Central/Blue)
In other words, if you think 'Mongolia is a desert', it's the Gobi Desert. If you want to see a lake as big as the sea in Mongolia, it's Hobbsgol, and if you want to go to a cool place on the grasslands, or if you don't have enough time, it's central.
If you want to see the characteristics and courses of each destination, I recommend you to refer to the Oda Tour website!!! (https://www.odatour.com/summer)
2. A ticket purchase
To be honest, wherever you go, there is only one destination. It's Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, where all the tours begin! So when you buy a ticket, you can buy one at Ulaanbaatar or Chingkis Khan Airport.
I buy almost every ticket with SkyScanner(https://www.skyscanner.ca/). Search the lowest price and go to the agency to purchase it, and you're done! Most of the flights from Korea don't have transfers, so you can just choose the time you like. But if you're an agency with a low star rating, look up some reviews. Please !!
For your information, I was lucky to have a special T-way ticket at Interpark about a month before departure, so I bought it for 430,000 won round trip! (I think I went in around 3 p.m.) Also, Jeju Air seems to depart about three times a week, so look for it and book it cheaply!
3. To ask for companion
The order may change. You can find a companion and > buy a ticket, like me, buy a ticket and > find a companion that fits the schedule. I wanted to book quickly and reduce the uncertainty of the ticket, so I paid in advance and found a companion that fits the schedule.
The place that asked for companionship is 'Love Mongolia' that you have to join if you go to that famous Mongolia!!!!!!! (https://cafe.naver.com/lovemongol)
After you sign up, make your back-up, leave it in the category of 'Community > Who to go with'. The form is all filled out in the cafe, so if you post it according to the form, it's over!
Everyone got it faster than I thought I got it two weeks ago, so I got it in a bit of a hurry. You guys get enough a month in advance
4. Determination of course and tour company
There are two things you need to decide with your companions before deciding on a course and a travel agency.
* Accommodation type: Traditional Ger Single / Traveler Ger Single / Mix
* Vehicle type: Purgong (traditional) / Starex
You can understand the accommodation by referring to the blog below!

To add to that, traditional ger is really... really ger. Traveler ger seems to have been kind of considerate. Traditional guerre does not come out with water, it is also fusese-style, and traveler's ger comes out with water even if it is cold, and electricity is limited by time.
Of course, it's a dorm by dorm, but in general!

See the blog below for vehicle comparisons!

I wasn't that uncomfortable with Purgong. I thought I should ride it in Mongolia at least once.
After coordinating like that, you can ask the tour company for an estimate. You can upload the estimate to Love Mongolia's "Q&A> Travel Course, Schedule" to receive the estimate by e-mail, or contact us via Kakaotalk if there is a tour company you want!

There are a lot of estimates in the mail I left. I collected all the estimates I received through mail + KakaoTalk. The schedule/stay/electricity and water/cost were all compared and decided!
5. Traveler's insurance
This is the last one. In Mongolia, you can ride a camel + horse, so travel insurance is essential.
It's the cleanest and most comfortable traveler's insurance I've ever bought. If you go to that link, enter your personal information + travel date, and deposit it, it's off!!!!!!!!!
Don't skip it because it's annoying, and I'm doing it because there's a precedent for everything I tell you to do,,
6. the rest
To be honest, the rest is the first/last day's dorm... Or preparations. Just make sure to book the first/last day's accommodation near the state-run department store, and the tour company will probably give you a checklist. If you prepare accordingly, there is no problem at all !
Have fun reading this and have a safe trip!
